Professional Advice
Our 'Designer By Your Side' service is for those who have a rough idea of what they want or have already made decisions but just need that extra confidence to move ahead with the next step.
For example, you may have narrowed down tile choices for your bathroom reno but need a second opinion on which to go with, or you'd like us to go through your finish selections to ensure there's cohesion.
It may be you've purchased decor for your home but need a hand with styling. We give you honest feedback and realistic suggestions.
How It Works
- We have a quick chat over the phone about the project in advance and arrange a time to meet up . You can also send us images and photos
- Utilise your time with your new Designer Friends either in your space, at a cafe, or visiting your favourite interiors shop - its up to you!
- Following our catch up, we will send you a summary including recommendations to move forward with your project if required.

About
Amanda Kemp DID
I will forever be drawn to the business of good design. My early days were in sales and marketing for high-end hotels and later designing a wide range of commercial spaces in Canada, with an emphasis on high quality retail and hospitality.
Using my education in both Interior Design and Business Management, my role evolved to business development for both commercial construction and design firms in Canada and Hong Kong, servicing across Asia Pacific.
With a move to Australia in 2015, I returned to my love of designing interiors and carried on designing commercial spaces in Queensland and New South Wales before settling down on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and raising a young family.
The cultural diversity within my own design experience has played a major part in shaping my tastes and for blending styles. I enjoy creating beautiful designs with a variety of budgets, styles and needs.
